How it works
  1. Dial the video call number listed - it will start with 19 and be either 6 or 8 digits long - 19xxxx or 19xxxxxx
  2. Press the video call button on your 3G handset (instead of the normal 'voice call' button).
  3. You can view video content directly on their 3G mobile handset (must be 3G video capable handset).
  4. Once connected, an introduction video of terms will be shown.
  5. At the end of this introduction, you will need to confirm if you would like to continue the call. You must press the key identified in the introduction to continue the call. In case of no response, you will be disconnected from the service at 30 seconds.
  6. If you continue the call, users will be charged at premium rate as determined by the type of service. Post-paid customers will be billed as per normal billing cycle. Prepaid customers on will have the charges deducted from their balance. Other prepaid customers will have the charges deducted from their current balance.

What it is

MVOD is video calling technology based on IVVR (Interactive Video Voice Response). It's a bit like the way a bank's automated call centre works except this is with video, and it's way more fun. All you need to do is punch in the number listed, then instead of pressing the call button, use the Options key to select Video Call.

The first 30 seconds are free and you must press 1 at the end of this period to confirm the pricing and to continue. When you make a video call to one of the numbers, a series of videos are played back to you over the phone lines to your handset, everything ranging from Summer Heights High to Mythbusters.

Our services are split into channels - so each channel will have a number of shows on it. You can watch these at any time. For instance, in the ABC Comedy channel (video call 1978 2222) there are 4 shows: Summer Heights High, We Can Be Heroes, The Chaser's War on Everything and Double The Fist.

By following the instructions you will hear and see on screen, a whole world of viewing is open to you without having to mess around with WAP, WEB, Streaming etc.

Remember that all calls are charged after the first 30 seconds - check the What's On Offer section for more information about pricing for each channel, and the FAQ's for general pricing Information
